This is a bit of a catch-all category for me, for those faces that may defy description in any other way. These faces may have letterforms that seem random, fractured, mutilated, or so grotesquely exaggerated that they can be difficult to read. They are rarely suitable for setting more than a few words at a time, and usually at rather large type sizes.
I know this is a very subjective judgment on my part, but I tend to think of these typefaces as either "experimental", which test our limits of recognizable letterforms, or else "outrageous" alphabets that try to shock or disturb us with their attitudes, or make us chuckle at their contrived way of overdramatizing a mood or a feeling, or the way they imitate something not normally used as a typeface.
Remember, I always have (many) more typefaces than I can show here. If you see something you like in one of these STYLES, I can always send you more examples of that style.
