Custom Spice Jar Labels
You choose the type style and customize the list of spices the way you want it. Where else can you do that?
These labels are printed in laser black ink (for water resistance) on white labels (1/2" X 1-3/4"). I use a basic set of 60 labels, listed below.
Thirty-five new typefaces
You select the type style that matches your personality and kitchen (not just limited to those shown (see the nine new additions below -- added February 13, 2006 -- and 26 more recent additions on the next page) - pick any type style you see anywhere on my website), and tell me if there are any labels you need in addition (up to 20 more, beyond my basic list, for the Regular size labels). You can even substitute for spices in my list - you can't get more customized service than that!
You can even have your labels in another language, just by providing the list of spice names for me to use. (Language must use Latin/Roman alphabet. Most fonts include German ß, as well.)
The price for one set of the Regular rectangular labels is just $5.00 (this is also the price for the Vertical style, on the next page of samples), and I pay the postage within the U.S. (Foreign customers are asked to pay the difference in postage, for mailing outisde the U.S.)
Other Label Sizes
In addition to my Regular size, white rectangular labels, I also have several larger sizes of white rectangular labels. The Medium labels come 30 per sheet and are 1" by 2 - 5/8". The price is also $5.00 for the first sheet, and $3.00 for added sheets. The Large come 14 per sheet and are 1 - 1/3" by 4". They cost $4.00 for the first sheet and $2.00 for each additional sheet. There are Jumbo labels that come 10 per sheet and measure 2" by 4"; and Super Jumbo size that are 3 - 1/3" by 4" and come 6 to a sheet. They are both the same prices as the Large labels.
New! Border Designs Too - For Larger Labels
In response to requests for additional decorative elements for these custom spice labels, I have added a selection of 24 border designs. They are not suitable for the Regular size labels, but the Medium and larger sizes have enough room to allow adding the borders. Click here to see the selection of Border designs.
Our Popular Round Labels
I also have 1 - 2/3" Round Spice Jar labels which you can order (Now also in Clear** or NEW OptiClear!). Also NEW are Silver Foil round labels. All four kinds of round labels come 24 per sheet, except the new OptiClear, which have 30 per sheet, and pricing for them is based on the number of sheets you need. (See below for samples and pricing -- the 'Clear' label price has been reduced.)
Clear Labels** - Now with 'Clear' or new OptiClear round too! Use the clear labels alone, or use them to protect your white labels.
I have clear rectangular labels that are the Regular size and they are $7.00 per sheet of printed labels, with additional sheets $5.00 each for the same style. I also have clear Medium size (1" by 2 - 3/4") for the same price, and clear Jumbo (2" by 4 - 1/8") for $5.00 for the first sheet and $3.00 for each additional sheet in the same style. Blanks sheets for use in protecting your white labels, are $2.00 each
Now I have added OptiClear round labels (which are better quality than the earlier 'Crystal Clear' labels). These are 1.5" in diameter (slightly smaller than my 'Clear' round labels) and are priced $10.00 for the first sheet of 30 labels, and $8.00 for additional sheets in the same style. Blank sheets of the 'Clear' round labels are only $1.00 each (if ordered with a printed label order). They are $2.00 each if ordered alone.
** PLEASE NOTE: 'Clear' labels (in order to be printed on a laser printer) have a matte finish, which makes the labels look translucent (like 'Magic mending tape'), rather than crystal clear, when they are placed on glass, or a dark color . These labels are best when placed over the printed white labels, for protecting them, or when used on light-colored surfaces. Used that way, they become 'invisible', just like the mending tape. Our new OptiClear labels, which are truly crystal clear, are perfect for glass or dark surfaces. If you plan to put them on stainless steel, or chrome, consider the Silver Round labels, since you do not need transparency.

To order, just use the easy Order Form, or else send an e-mail to info@bowfinprintworks.com with your selection of label style (round or rectangular), the type style (font) you want them printed in (and please note if you want all lettering the same size - normally I adjust the size of type on each label to give the largest lettering that fits), any additions or changes to my basic list and your mailing address where I will send your labels. You can pay by check or money order after your labels arrive. (Note: You may also fax your order to my CallWave number at 775-860-5725, but please remember to include all the necessary information, and include an e-mail address, in case there are questions about your order.)
(Actual labels are printed without the typeface names in the lower right, just in case you were wondering. All labels in the set use the same typeface, unless you specify otherwise. Normally, the type size is adjusted to provide the largest lettering that will fit, so Basil will have larger lettering than Garlic Powder, but if you want all lettering the same size, let me know.)

These are samples of the round Spice Jar Labels that we can also print for you. They are white,1-2/3" in diameter (so these may not be actual size) and you can select any of the same typefaces. They only come 24 to a sheet, and so I sell them for $5.00 for the first 24 labels and $3.00 for each additional sheet of up to 24 labels that you need. (That means my basic Spice Label set of 60 labels - with 12 blank spares - would cost $11.00. A set of the Clear** round labels would be $14.00, for three sheets of 24 labels with 12 blanks; and the new OptiClear would be $18.00, for two sheets of 30 labels, with no blanks. The OptiClear labels are 1.5" in diameter.)
